This morning, Xavier had his FIRST HAIRCUT! Yes, I hear a lot of sighs of relief out there, but for me, it was a little emotional. That means that my BABY boy is growing up. But, he will be two years old next Friday, so I felt like it was time. I told Bonnie (she cuts my hair at Salon Zazou) that I didn't want him to look like a "big boy" and that I still needed a little bit of baby hair. Bonnie moved too fast for me to get a good "before picture", so I had to use one from late December so you could get the idea of how long Xavier's hair was.
BEFORE
AFTER
Xavier did so well! We talked about the hair cut all week long. I told him about the big chair and about Bonnie. I told him that Bonnie would cut his hair and we would make a funny sound like scissors.
When we got to the salon, he hopped up in the chair and Bonnie put the big drape over Xavier. He thought it was funny and we kept telling him what a big boy he was being. He did great, never cried and had a blast with Bonnie. Check out the pics!
He kept feeling the little wispy hairs fall around his face, so he would close his eyes. Smart boy!

Xavier is used to getting his hair blow dried.
Here he is - my BIG BOY! He still looks super cute!
Bye, bye baby hair! :(
Quotable Quotes from Xavier
While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.
The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.
He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."
So smart!
