While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.
The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.
He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."
Friday morning, Xavier and I met Elizabeth and Laura Katherine at the mall for some coffee and shopping. The kids were very good (most of the time), so before we left, we let them play a little at the water fountain outside of the mall.
We kept trying to get LK's attention, but she tunes Elizabeth out as good as Xavier tunes me out! I guess it's their age! Xavier was trying hard to get some lovin' from LK, but she kept playing hard to get! Check out the video for a little better picture of how hard LK was trying to get away from my very affectionate son! :)
They both settled down for a few minutes and held hands very nicely. Too cute! It was funny to watch the two of them together. They pretty imitated whatever the other was doing. This was push ups??? We all had a fun morning and can't wait to fill the rest of the summer with more!
