Lilypie 4th Birthday Ticker

Quotable Quotes from Xavier

While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.

The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.

He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."

So smart!

Congratulations Jen and Derek!

We had a weekend full of wedding festivities. My cousin Derek got married yesterday to his bride, Jen. It was a beautiful ceremony (even with Xavier's exclamations here and there) and even though it was REALLY HOT, the reception at the Siebel's House was a lot of fun. The bride was breathtaking and Derek looked very handsome.

Xavier and I went to the rehearsal dinner Friday night (Curtis was on call) at Hanlee Hall in Irmo. My fellow class of 1995 alum, Jim Dinkins, owns the place, and he did a really nice job.
Xavier was my date for the night - didn't he look so handsome?!

This is my littlest brother Bruce (can you believe it?) with his girlfriend, Dana, who Xavier adores!

My mom with her boyfriend, Carl.

And, last, but of course not least, Troy with his girlfriend, Theresa. I was the only "single" one at the table! How did that happen?!

Xavier had such a good time and was in such a great mood, even considering the late hour.

Here is the link to Jen and Derek's announcement.
