Lilypie 4th Birthday Ticker

Quotable Quotes from Xavier

While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.

The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.

He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."

So smart!

Lazy Saturday

Curtis and I are professional relaxers . . . we don't mind sitting at home doing practically nothing, and I believe our littlest family member is following in our footsteps. Xavier loves to be home, playing with his toys, goofing off with his Daddy, or whatever the day may bring. Last Saturday was one of those days. Xavier was not on his best behavior for most of the day (terrible two's - here we come!), but these pictures captured some fun, sweet moments.

Xavier is much like his late "Uncle Dutch" in that he will lay directly on the newspaper while Curtis is trying to read it. Of course, he also likes to tear it into a million pieces every now and then!

Xavier even managed to work in a little reading of his own while he was on the floor!

Xavier has become a professional poser for me and my camera. Curtis gets a big kick out of what a ham Xavier is!
