While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.

The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.

He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."

"Beet Bops"

Sometimes, Xavier gets attached to unusual things. A couple of weeks ago, it was his blue flip flops, also known as "beet bops". He decided one night that he had to wear his beet bops to bed. I said "Are you sure? It may be a little uncomfortable." Xavier said "YES", very loudly. So I agreed that he could wear them to bed. The next morning when I went to get Xavier up for zoo school, the beet bops were still on his feet, and of course, he had to wear them the rest of the day!
Ready for bed, beet bops and all!
