While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.

The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.

A Baseball Player?

Since it is baseball season, and since Curtis is a HUGE Chicago Cubs fan, we have been watching A LOT of baseball lately. Xavier really has enjoyed watching the games with his Daddy, and he will yell out "good pitch" or "good hit" throughout the games.


About a week ago, our neighbor, Nathan, gave Xavier one of his old bats, which of course, made Xavier's day. He asks to play with it all the time, but being that it is aluminum, it is an outside toy. Curtis has been trying to teach Xavier how to hit with his bat, and Xavier has done really well. Here is a video of him hitting . . .
