Lilypie 4th Birthday Ticker

Quotable Quotes from Xavier

While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.

The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.

He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."

So smart!

An Afternoon with my Best Friends . . . and Their Kids!

It is still so strange to me that my friends and I are old enough to be married, have "real" jobs, pay our own bills and own houses. But, the thing that gets me every time is that we are old enough to have KIDS! It has been such a blessing to see girls that I love so dearly and cherish as my best friends have children.

Xavier and I were able to get together with Stella and her 1 year old, Henry, and Elizabeth and Jay, and their almost 2 year old, Laura Katherine. We met out at Irmo Town Park so the kids would have a place to run around, and boy did they! Here are a few pictures . . .

Henry . . . He turned 1 on March 8. He looks just like his Daddy! I was so impressed with how good he was while we were at the park, and he listens to his mama so well!

How strange . . . my son and Stella's son . . .

Okay, so this was an interesting photo session . . . This was the 4th picture we took just on my camera and this was the best shot. It's hard to get a good picture when 3 toddlers are involved!

Cute picture . . . Elizabeth and Laura Katherine. LK will be 2 in July.

We had sooooo much fun and we hope to do it again SOON, but with more friends this time!
