While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.

The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.

He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."

Wake Up with "USA Today"

Anyone who knows Curtis knows that he is an avid reader of the newspaper. He gets USA Today delivered to our door each weekday. I almost feel like he can't speak to me or feel "right" with himself until he has read the paper. Well, Xavier wants to imitate everything that Curtis and I do on a daily basis no matter how mundane. This past Monday, that included "reading" the paper. I thought it was so cute how Xavier sat on top of the table (on top of his Daddy's paper section, by the way) and held that paper high so he could "read" it just like his Daddy.


Seriously, how much cuter could he be????
