Lilypie 4th Birthday Ticker

Quotable Quotes from Xavier

While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.

The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.

He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."

So smart!

"Treat!"

Xavier had an exciting Halloween this year. This one being his first "real" experience with trick-or-treating. First, he got to dress up - as a train conductor - and go to his Grandma's office. Grandma had everything all set up. First, Xavier went to her desk, then to his Aunt Marsha's desk and then to his Uncle George's office. He got treats at each stop, and loved every second of it!

"Mom, look at all those lollipops!"

Xavier and his Grandma, showing off all his treats!

Xavier and his Aunt Marsha.

That night, Xavier got to go trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. We took him to a handful of houses, all of favorite people in our neighborhood. He got so much candy, just from those few houses! Wow! He even approached some scary looking neighbors who had a haunted house in their garage! Impressive!

"Treat!" I taught Xavier to say that. He couldn't get the "Trick or" part out though, so it just came out "treat". Too cute though!

Okay, this picture is totally blurry, but you get the gist. Curtis and I thought it might be fun to wear our wigs out. Three years ago, we were a 70's couple for a halloween party, so that's where these come from. It was fun!

A good Halloween - one for the memory books for sure!

Xavier looks soooooooooo...cute in his train conductor outfit. Sounds like it was a nice day of TREATS for all of you.

You & Curtis are a scream with your big hair. Can you believe that was the style at one time? I'm surprised that Xavier would have his picture made with you two.

Thank you, Alicia, for coming by the office to let Xavier show off his Halloween costume. It is always a joy to see you both.
