My parents' friends, John and Susan Rochester, have a new baby granddaughter, Kylie. So, my mom, Xavier, Bruce and I all drove up to their house in Seneca on Saturday the 14th to meet the little one. Xavier was quite enthralled - he just wanted to stare at Kylie.
Xavier tried to get Kylie to hold her rattle the entire time we were there. He just didn't understand why she couldn't hold it.

John and Susan have a swimming pool in their backyard. Man, are there some memories there from my childhood! Lots of hours swimming . . . Well, Xavier (who is not very adventurous when it comes to water) decided to give it a try. He spent most of his time on this first step, but I almost had to dive in when he decided to go to the 3rd step!
This was his diaper as a result of all of the water time! Ugh!
