On Thursday, I took Xavier back to the zoo. During our first trip there a few weeks ago, a lot of the big animals were not outside, so I wanted to go back to check them out. Xavier seems to really enjoy the animals, especially the birds. Sometimes, though, I think he enjoys people watching at the zoo more than animal watching.

Xavier has a jungle themed room, so I was trying to explain to him that these are the real animals, like the ones on his dresser, on his blanket, etc. I'm sure he understood every word I said!

Here is Xavier eating a well deserved snack - green grapes - after a morning of walking and riding around the zoo. I guess that one was a little sour!
All in all, it was a good trip. Xavier was good, as always, and the weather was perfect. I enjoy the zoo too, as most of you know, so it was a fun time for all!
