This year was the first year Xavier was able to enjoy Easter Sunday. We went to early service at church, and froze because it was sooooo COLD! When we got home, Xavier got to get all into his Easter basket. He loved it, but thankfully, he did not love the Peeps in his basket - good for him!
For lunch, we went to the white house and had dinner with the Shealy family. Xavier always takes a while to warm up to everyone, but once he does, he has a blast. And, he ate so good!
After that, we headed over to the Browns for dinner and an easter egg hunt. Xavier had a good time finding his eggs and filling his basket. He and his Granddaddy tromped through the woods when he was done, and he always has fun exploring.
It was a beautiful day spent with family. Happy Easter!
Quotable Quotes from Xavier
While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.
The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.
He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."
So smart!
