And, smile he did, though you can't see that in most of the pictures. Xavier is quite a serious boy, even at the fair! This was his 2nd visit to the fair, but the first year he could actually get in on the fun. Xavier is 35 inches tall, exactly one inch too short for most of the kiddie rides, but there were a handful he was allowed on. He LOVED it and wanted to stay on each ride as long as possible!
Of course, Xavier loved the animal part of the zoo, as he has always been my little animal lover. I believe the cows were his absolute favorite. He didn't want to leave the barn!
He kept touching the goats' and sheeps' noses and thought it was so funny!
Look Mama! I can climb the fence!
Okay, so he doesn't look like it, but he is really enjoying this ride! I was surprised he rode them BY HIMSELF! No crying at all!
I had to ride some too.
Ahhh, that first taste of cotton candy! Sweet!
We all had a fabulous time riding rides, eating lots of yummy food and taking in the sights of the fair. Until next year . . .
Quotable Quotes from Xavier
While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.
The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.
He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."
So smart!
