We took Xavier on a Steam Engine Ride in Winnsboro, SC last weekend. It was through the South Carolina Railroad Museum (http://www.scrm.org). The ride was about 3.8 miles and took about an hour. Xavier has been so obsessed with trains, so we thought he might enjoy seeing an actual train up close and personal. He was a little frightened at first by the loud noises, but he was fine after a little while. It was a lot of fun and quite an experience for such a little boy. Enjoy the pictures. On Daddy's shoulders checking out the steam engine.
Xavier did some exploring while we waited.
All smiles for the whole ride!
Quotable Quotes from Xavier
While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.
The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.
He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."
So smart!
