Curtis ran the US Marine Corps Mud Run this past Saturday with a few girls from Richland. This was his second time running the course and he had a really good time. He is, of course, ever the gentleman, and made sure that the ladies were okay throughout the 4.5 mile obstacle course. They were COVERED from head to toe with mud, and they were all quite tired, but all in all, they had a lot of fun. Xavier and I got to hang out and witness the craziness first hand.
It takes a while to load pics on this blog, so I'm going to link you to my Snapfish album.
The website for the mud run is as follows if anyone is interested for 2008! www.usmcmudrun.active.com
Quotable Quotes from Xavier
While Curtis and I were in Las Vegas, Xavier stayed with his Grandmama and Granddaddy and his Mema.
The first day we were gone, Xavier was playing with his Grandmama. The Browns have an old gumball machine in their entryway, and Xavier wanted to play with the "balls" that were inside. Being quite the sorter, Xavier started organizing the gumballs.
He looked at a group of them and said, "Grandmama, those colorful balls make a triangle."
So smart!
